Sired by Halmyre Urr Pinsent she is out of the EX90 scored Jinks 391, a Halmyre Urr Jack daughter.
In 2011 she stood third in the second calved class at the Royal Highland Show. She went on to take the breed championship at Dumfries Show in August that year.
At the Northern National Ayrshire Sale she won the cow in milk class and stood reserve overall champion before going on to sell for the day’s top price of 5000gns to Geraint Thomas for his Gwynnog herd.
Since then she has had a successful show career in Wales, in 2012 she was first and reserve champion at the Royal Welsh Show. Later in 2012 she stood breed champion at the Welsh Dairy Show and in 2013 she repeated this success.
She classified EX93 in her fourth lactation with EX95 for dairy strength and EX94 for mammary.
We still have her 2011-born daughter by our home bred Shady Walnut Conn son Halmyre Urr Walnut who is currently milking in her second lactation.
